Assistant Professor Anthony John G. Domingo, MAN, RN

Anthony John Garcia Domingo obtained his license as a Registered Nurse on June of 2009, the year when he also graduated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He then pursued his postgraduate studies in University of San Carlos, earning the degree of Master of Arts in Nursing major in Clinical Supervision in 2011, he is pursuing his doctorate studies in Education at University of Makati. He also had attended various continuing professional development in the nursing practice and nursing education. His clinical experience as a nurse was obtained from Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, formerly the Taguig City Hospital.

His passion for teaching began when he joined University of Makati- College of Allied Health Studies in 2010 as part-time lecturer and clinical instructor for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. On September 2012, he was chosen to be the Department Head for Nursing and in June of 2013, he was appointed as Executive Director of the Center of Nursing of University of Makati- College of Allied Health Studies and is currently the Dean of the Institute of Nursing. He also teaches in the graduate program for Nursing. He is also engaged in professional organization; he was first elected in 2011 as Public Relations Officer and a House of Delegates member of the Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (PNA) – Zone 5 (Makati, Taguig, and Pateros). On 2014, he was elected as Vice President of the same organization. He held the position of President of PNA-Zone 5 in 2016-2017. He is also a current Vice President of the Global Society for Philippine Nurse Researchers, Incorporated Makati Cell and a member of the Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing (ADPCN).
