Vision

UMAK-CIGA is committed to improving the future generations of herons through strategic global engagement appreciation of cultural diversity, and opportunities for competitive research and scholarship.

Mission

The UMak-CIGA serves as an enabling center for global engagement, cultivating cross-cultural appreciation, collaboration, and glocal academic exchange.

Office Functions

Promote the university’s international reputation and visibility by associating with foreign universities, industries, research centers, etc.;
Provide access to international opportunities for UMak students;
Offer opportunities for research collaborations that meet the sustainable development goals;
Spearhead the development, updating, and monitoring of UMak’s strategic internationalization agenda;
Foster intercultural appreciation and diversity.
