Vision
The Center for Planning and Development envisions itself as the lead office in developing a sustainable future for the University of Makati.
Mission
To attain the vision, the Center for Planning and Development implements effective and efficient institutional strategic planning, programs, project management processes, organizational culture transformation, and structured progress monitoring and evaluation systems.
Office Functions
The Center for Planning and Development is the prime mover in the sustainable progress of the university thru effective coordination with the stakeholders in development planning and policy formulation, and the performance of systematic monitoring and evaluation of development programs, projects and activities, and the organizational culture.
Functions
- Formulate integrated educational, social, economic, and other development plans and policies for consideration of the Office of the President/Board Members.
- Conduct continuing studies, researches, and training programs necessary to evolve plans and programs for implementation;
- Integrate and coordinate all CCOs project plans undertaken by the different functional groups or departments;
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different development programs, projects, and activities of the departments in accordance with the UMak development plan;
- Prepare comprehensive plans and other development planning documents for the consideration of the Office of the President/Board Members.
- Analyze the income and expenditure patterns, and formulate and recommend fiscal plans and policies for consideration of the finance committee and the CCOs concerned.
- Promote university stakeholders’ participation in development planning;
- Coordinate with the CCOs in the development of their office profile and project plans
