Prof. Michael L. Tolentino Graduated with the degree of Bachelor in Physical Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and finished his degree in Master of Arts in Innovative Physical Education (MAIPE) at the University of Makati in 2016. Prof. Tolentino has been at the University of Makati Center for Human Kinesthetics for 17 years and has taught and coached various sports teams and subjects in Service Physical Education and Sports Major Students from 2010 to 2016. He was the Assistant Director in the Athletics Development Center (ADC) and Head of Training Sports Linkages. In 2017 Prof. Tolentino was appointed as the Executive Director of the Center of Human Kinesthetics.
A Licensed Basketball International Referee, National Umpired in Badminton and Commissioner in Various National Sports Competitions. Currently, Prof. Tolentino is pursuing his post-graduate degree in Doctor in Education Management (DEM) at the University of Makati.
The top priority of the College for Human Kinetics (CHK) is the success of our students. We have a reputation for producing graduates who are among the very best in the city and the country. It is certainly an exciting time for our department given the recent influx of Academic appointments and major investment in facilities in the university.
Energy and Enthusiasm in the Faculty are outstanding in pursuing excellence in teaching. In the area of Bachelor of Physical Wellness and Service Physical Education, we strive for the highest of standards in a manner that is enjoyable for both our faculty staff and students.
The College of Human Kinetics (CHK) is treading the direction of quality delivery and accomplishment of UMak’s vision and mission. Whereas, future educators and fitness professionals will continue to pursue lifelong learning through carefully selected physical activities. These, in turn, serve as invaluable instruments that will hone an individual in the spirit of holism and healthy living. We are committed to preparing the students to make the most out of the complex challenges and opportunities our national and global communities will present.
CHK reinforced the continued pursuit of the city government of Makati to advance sports among students of the University. This has been supported by the construction of state-of-the-art aesthetics and wellness facilities in the University, thus paving the way for the expansion of physical education programs and other related professional programs like physical wellness, sports facility management, among others.
