A warm welcome to the College of Technology Management (CTM). CTM was called by many names through the years and each name reflects the strategy and focuses that the college pursued.
It is inaugural name was the Institute of Industrial Technology (IT). Since then, it evolved into what it is now the College of Technology Management. From it, other colleges of the University evolved as well like the college of Computer Science (CCS), Institute of Technical Education and Entrepreneurial Department (defunct), College of Construction Sciences and Civil Engineering (CCSE), College of Arts and Letters (CAL), and College of Science (COS). Many faculty members from CTM became Deans and Department Heads of these colleges.
Through the leadership of the late President Tomas B. Lopez, CTM was able to break new grounds in pursuing various innovations in its curricular programs. It received level 3 ALCUCOA accreditation in 2013. The biggest milestone so far is the University Dual Training System (DTS) or the Dualized University Education (DUES) which enabled the College to ensure a 100% employment of its graduates through dynamic partnerships and linkages with the various companies/ industries.
Industry partnership is the core strategy of CTM in offering its programs. The Bachelor in Building Technology Management (BTM) was developed with the help of the Philippine Association of Building Administrators (PABA). The Bachelor in Electronics and Telecommunication technology (BETT) was developed with assistance from SMART Philippines through its SMART SWEEP program which is now on its third phase of implementation that started more than 10 years ago. Through the years, CTM entered into many agreements/ partnerships with different companies/ industries for the Industrial Facilities Technology (IFT) and Bachelor in Electrical Technology (BET) that benefited the students with quality education, scholarship grants, industry/ in-plant immersion daily allowances, and employment few months ahead of their graduation. Megaworld Foundation Inc. and ASSIST- SOLAR NRG are the latest partners of the college. Breaking new grounds again and new milestones can be expected in these partnerships and as always, it will be a wonderful story to share because, at CTM, we build your future.
CTM Graduates shall possess the qualities of a creative thinker, resourceful, persistent,
adaptive, and digitally literate professionals who are tolerant of varying differences in
personalities, culture, or political/religious persuasions.
