HRMO Hosts Seminar on Transforming Data into Impactful Documentation

In celebration of the 124th Civil Service Anniversary, the University of Makati’s Human Resource Management Office organized a pivotal seminar titled “From Data to Documentation: Crafting Impactful Write-Ups and Research” last September 13 which addressed the critical need for effective communication in an increasingly data-driven world.

The seminar aimed to equip participants with the essential skills to convert raw data into clear, actionable research papers and reports. Despite the current abundance of data available, many struggle to present this information in a way that is both accessible and compelling. It also sought to bridge this gap by offering practical strategies for creating impactful documentation that enhances both reports and research efforts.

The session featured Asst. Prof. Melanie Moraga-Leaño, a renowned expert in Speech Communication and Public Administration. Her extensive expertise guided over 60 participants through practical exercises aimed at simplifying complex data and transforming it into clear, valuable written content.
