IOP delegates represent UMak in the 30th FAPA Congress in South Korea
The Institute of Pharmacy (IOP) delegates represented the University of Makati (UMak) at the 30th Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) Congress at COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea.
With the theme “Next Generation Pharmacists in Asia”, the event was participated by 2,000 participants from 24 countries in Asia. Among the delegates from UMak are IOP Dean, Prof. Maria Fay Nenette Cariaga; Institute Secretary, Asst. Prof. Estela De Vera-Barasi; and Academic and Internship Director, Asst. Prof. Justine Marie Ocampo.
The delegates had the opportunity to present faculty research and collaborative projects involving both faculty and students at the congress. Among the notable contributions were the following:
