Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges benchmarks about the RLE of the Institute of Nursing

27 February 2024 – The Institute of Nursing welcomed a review committee from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges interested in the university’s Related Learning Experience fees (RLE fees) for nursing students. The committee aims to attain the best practices that will help them create their policy framework.The visitors came by the office of the president, Dr. Elyxzur Ramos, where they initially gained insights into nursing students’ RLE fees. Then, Institute-Dean, Enrico S. Santos, and Department Heads Professors, Josephine D. Robinos and Francis Jay N. Enriquez further discussed the inclusions in the RLE fees, the monitoring of the nursing students’ internships, and the hybrid setup when it comes to teaching.

They explained that instructors were hired from partnered institutes and that the beauty of linkages works in future employment plans for students who underwent intensive training and licensure examinations. They also discussed the qualifications of the instructors and the benefits of training and development that the city provides to the employees. Throughout the university tour, one of the guests quizzed some of the nursing students and another experienced the chiropractic skills of Dean Enrico Santos. They were impressed with the facilities and equipment like the e-attendance technology for the classrooms. As the tour concluded, the visitors expressed their desire to come by the university again. They also received a copy of the “Skyward” from the Library Learning Commons.
