We envision the Center to be the heart of the university where every student shall be empowered in realizing their fullest educational potential as lifelong learners with good moral values who are committed to excellence.
The Center shall develop a comprehensive program that will provide life skills enhancement and psychological support that will equip the students to be productive, well-balanced, responsible and competent members of society. The Center shall promote and strengthen the holistic development of students.
Facilitates and helps students in the achievement of their personal, social, spiritual and academic development as well as the acquisition of relevant knowledge and skills in career planning.
Promotes holistic development and helps students to become well-adjusted individuals through responsive guidance and counseling services in line with the year level thrust and the university’s vision-mission.
Creates preventive/proactive guidance programs that lead to the enrichment and satisfaction of students learning and experiences necessary for a successful and well-balanced student life.

About the Director
Ryan C. Villanueva is a Mental Health Specialist affiliated with the reputable US Organization. He is also a co-owner of MV&A Consulting and Kraftive Psychological Services, where he has contributed significantly to the betterment of mental health in his community.
Ryan’s professional background is rooted in his extensive experience in the counseling and education fields. As a licensed counselor, licensed professional teacher, certified learning and development professional, and certified human resource associate, Ryan has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health issues.
Ryan’s profound interest in Psychological Research, Disaster and Mental Health, Cognitive psychology, Filipino Psychology, and Understanding the Self, has helped shaped his expertise in the field. His authorial credentials are equally noteworthy, as he is working on several books, including “The Art of Self-Discovery,” “Guide in Understanding the Self (GUTS),” and “Disaster and Mental Health in the Philippine Setting,” which contribute significantly to the field of mental health.
Ryan’s professional memberships include the Philippine Mental Health Association, Philippine Guidance Counseling Association (National and Cavite Chapter), the Center for Professional Advancement and Continuing Education, and the Psychological Resources Center. His expertise is well-established, as he is often invited to speak as a resource speaker, providing psychoeducation, mental health seminars, webinars, and workshops to diverse audiences in both school and industry settings.
Ryan’s commitment to improving the well-being of his students and clients through counseling, education, and writing continues to be a source of inspiration and motivation for those around him. Currently, he is a PhD Counseling candidate at DLSU-D specializing in school and community counseling, in addition to holding a Master’s degree in Education Major in Guidance Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Guidance Counseling. Ryan’s passion for mental health and education has earned him recognition, such as his nomination as one of the Happiest Pinoysby Cebuana Lhuillier and being given the “Pinakamasipag na Kawani ng UMak” award at the Civil Service Celebration in 2019. He is a licensed counselor, licensed professional teacher, certified learning and development professional and certified human resource associate.
