Assistant Professor Gerome C. Abenilla graduated Cum Laude with a Doctor of Philosophy from Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation and completed his master’s degree in Radiologic Technology, specializing in Clinical Supervision. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Lyceum Northwestern University in Dagupan City. As a licensed Radiologic Technologist, he gained clinical experience at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, where he specialized in Radiation Therapy.
His passion for teaching began when he was invited to lecture at his alma mater, where he taught Radiologic Physics and Radiographic Techniques. This enthusiasm for education continued to grow as he guided student interns in the Radiation Therapy unit at the medical center. He eventually transitioned to full-time teaching at the University of Makati within the College of Allied Health Sciences, now known as the Institute of Imaging Health Sciences. There, he served as Academic Chairman and Clinical Chair, and later as the Institute Secretary.
In 2023, he was appointed Dean of the Institute of Imaging Health Sciences. His teaching experience has since expanded through invitations to serve as a review lecturer at various schools and as a guest speaker at local and national radiologic technology conventions. He is currently a member of the Philippine Association of Radiologic Technologists and the Integrated Council of Radiologic Technologists Philippines.

About Institute Secretary
Assistant Professor Aldrin Mendoza is a licensed Radiologic Technologist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from the University of Makati, obtained in 2016, and a Master of Science in Radiologic Technology with a concentration in Clinical Supervision from the same institution, completed in 2019.
Since 2017, Asst. Prof. Mendoza has been a full-time faculty member at the University of Makati. During his tenure, his teaching responsibilities have included Human Anatomy and Physiology, Patient Care Management, Professional Ethics and Cultural Sensitivity, and Radiographic Anatomy and Pathology. He has also served as the advisor for the Radiologic Technology Student League of the Philippines – UMak Chapter. In 2022, he assumed the role of advisor for the Institute of Imaging Health Sciences – Student Council. Additionally, he actively coordinates research and extension initiatives and has served as an interim member of the University of Makati Research Ethics Committee.
He served as the Academic Director of the Institute of Imaging Health Sciences from the academic year 2022-2023 to the academic year 2023-2024. Currently, he is engaged in writing his dissertation for a Doctor of Education in Innovative Educational Management at the University of Makati. Furthermore, he holds the position of Secretary for the Institute of Imaging Health Sciences.
Asst. Prof. Mendoza is committed to the continuous improvement of the Radiologic Technology education program in the Philippines. This commitment aims to produce graduates who possess resilience, innovation, social responsibility, and the necessary skills to excel in their professional roles.

Mr. John Alfred Bravo received his Master’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from the University of Makati in 2017, becoming one of its pioneers. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from The Family Clinic Inc. Colleges in 1997 and was honored with the Alumni Achievement Award in 2015. He obtained his X-Ray Technologist Title in 1996 and his Radiologic Technologist Title in 1998 from the Professional Regulation Commission.
In addition to his academic achievements, he was elected as an officer of the Society of Privately Employed Radiologic Technologists, Inc., and served as Congress Chairman for the 25th Radiologic Technology National Congress. In 2019, he was appointed as a Monitor for Continuing Professional Development Programs for Radiologic Technologists.
Assistant Professor Bravo has held positions as Chief Radiologic Technologist and Radiation Safety Officer at three different hospitals in Metro Manila. He has also been a part-time lecturer at The Family Clinic Inc. Colleges and Chinese General Hospital Colleges. Additionally, he has been invited as a guest speaker at various Radiologic Technologist seminars across the Philippines.
He is also a Commissioned Officer with the rank of Captain in the Armed Forces of the Philippines Reserve Command, assigned to the Civil-Military Affairs Brigade (Reserve), where he is designated as Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel (OG1).

About
Assistant Professor Meynard Castro graduated Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology at Metro Subic Colleges Inc. with flying colors. He became a registered radiologic technologist in December 2013 and secured the top position in the Radiologic Technology Licensure Examination, achieving the highest overall score. He was also a graduate of Caregiving NC II at Subic Bay Colleges Inc. in March 2015. In April 2024, he graduated Master of Science in Radiologic Technology Major in Clinical Supervision at UMak.
He is currently the Academic Program Chair of the Institute of Imaging Health Sciences (IIHS). He holds an Assistant Professor II position, teaching professional education subjects in Radiologic Technology. He worked as a full-time instructor at Wesleyan University Philippines and Junior CT/MRI Technologist at Makati Medical Center Inc. He has been teaching at IIHS since June 2017.
In addition to his teaching career, he is also an online seller, running a thriving e-commerce business that offers products related to Radiologic Technology. By managing both teaching and online selling, he exemplifies the balance of passion, dedication, and versatility.
Outside of work, he has been consistently invited to deliver lectures in various review centers and share his expertise in Radiologic Physics, Radiobiology, Radiation Protection, Computer Tomography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging to help students successfully prepare for and pass the Radiologic Technology Licensure Examination.
