- Dress modestly and smartly. Ensure that your outfit (i.e., collars, necklines, sleeves, hems, etc.) are hidden behind the academic gown.
- Wear black, closed-toe shoes with low heels. Expect to stand for an extended period; hence we caution you to prioritize comfort over style in your choice of footwear.
- Keep accessories minimal. Bring only purses or small black handbag bags.
- Since you will wear a cap, plan on the most appropriate hairdo.
Not allowed are the following: Long dress exceeding the robe’s hem, bright-colored shoes, sneakers, boots, high-heeled shoes/stilettos, sandals, or sliders, and bulky bags.
Male:
- Come in a long-sleeved, collared, buttoned-up polo shirt or Barong Tagalog over dark-colored slacks.
- Wear dark-colored formal shoes.
Not allowed are the following: jeans, sneakers, sandals or sliders, and bulky bags.
How to wear the academic regalia:
- Iron the academic gown (toga) neatly.
- Gowns are generally loosely fit (like a robe); tie the cord securely.
- Don the hood overhead; the velvet/satin side must be in-front, just below your neck.
- Ask for assistance to keep the hood attached to the gown and prevent it from sliding down the shoulder. Use safety pins when necessary
- Wearing of a corsage or lei is NOT allowed. Be wary of people selling these items outside the venue. Do not buy it.

Graduation Song & Lyrics
My Time – Khimo Gumatay
VERSE 1
All those times
I just cry and hide
Makes me work much harder
All of the fighting
All of the pain
Makes me that much stronger
I’ll climb that mountain
CHORUS
And show you it’s my time
It’s my time to shine
With you as my guide
I fear no pain
I’ll reach for the skies
I will learn to fly
I’ll be strong
I’ll be brave
I’ll make waves
It’s my time
VERSE 2
Didn’t come this far
Just to quit in the rain
There’s a rainbow there just waiting
I’m not afraid
I know you’re with me each day
Oh your love is my safe place
You’re always by my side
CHORUS
It’s my time
It’s my time to shine
With you as my guide
I fear no pain
I’ll reach for the skies
I will learn to fly
I’ll be strong
I’ll be brave
I’ll make waves
It’s my time
BRIDGE
Through all of the burdens and hurting (It’s my time)
I’ll always keep breathing, believe it (It’s my time)
No matter how long it takes
I’ll find my way
CHORUS
It’s my time
It’s my time to shine
With you as my guide
I fear no pain
I’ll reach for the skies
I will learn to fly
And I’ll be strong
And I’ll be brave
And I’ll make waves
And I’ll make waves
And I’ll make waves
It’s my time
It’s my time
It’s my time
It’s my time
