On the second day, October 11, 2022, Dr. Ma. Corazon E. Benosa, Dean of Higher School ng UMAK delivered her welcome remarks. Also, remarkable speakers from different organizations like IBM and Rotary Club International were invited to develop the learners’ competencies, work ethics, and values relevant to succeeding education that the students will take and to the world of work they will be involved in. Included in their presentations were the possible partner institutions and focal persons or work immersion advisers for HSU. The speakers emphasized that there are many different types of work immersion programs available to choose from. Some programs may be more suited for your career goals than others. It is important to do your research in order to find a program that will help you reach your objectives. Another way to get immersed in the working world is to volunteer. Volunteering can be a great way to gain experience and learn new skills while also giving back to the community. There are many organizations that offer volunteer opportunities, so there is sure to be something that interests the students.
