“Laudato Si’ “- Praise be to you- On Care for our Common Home by Pope Francis.

The University of Makati begins this sustainable project in a Groundbreaking Ceremony in partnership with the Don Bosco School of Theology, Plastic Philippines, and Green Ants Partner Companies.

The Center for Community Extension and Development led this project through its partners to establish the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), Composting, and Hydroponics. Prof. Elyxzur C. Ramos, our university president, led the blessing of the site where the Materials Recovery Facility will rise last 24 January 2023.

UMak will continue to participate in activities that support the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and the aims to encourage the support of its stakeholders.
