Attention UMak Students with Service Motorcycles:

We would like to inform you that the Occupational Health and Safety Office (OHSO) has issued 150 stickers for students with motorcycles on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, due to the limited availability of parking slots, we are unable to accommodate all motorcycles on campus.

In light of this situation, we strongly advise students with motorcycles to explore alternative transportation solutions. Consider utilizing public transportation options, carpooling with fellow students, or utilizing designated off-campus parking areas near the university.

Please refrain from parking your motorcycles along the sidewalks outside of the campus premises, as the university cannot guarantee the security of parked vehicles in these areas. Towing may occur at any time, leading to inconvenience and potential financial costs for vehicle retrieval.

We understand the importance of convenience and accessibility, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we believe that by collectively exploring alternative transportation methods, we can alleviate parking congestion while prioritizing the safety and well-being of all students.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
