Application for CCAPS’ Professorial Chair 2024 is Now Open and Extended Until April 15, 2024

Professorial chairs are awarded to individuals of high esteem in their fields, who embody the ideals of the university and the colleges as well as the persons from whom they are named after. As the university continues to remember who it is for and who we serve, we push the envelope for excellence as we embrace advancing outward the university is more open to and engaged with the world now more than ever. Part and parcel of this engagement to the world would also be increased opportunities to show that indeed we are becoming a powerhouse for research.

WATCH THE FIRST UMAK PROFESSORIAL CHAIR:

Requirements:

  • Duly accomplished application form;
  • Concise and updated curriculum vitae of the candidate; and
  • Planned research and lecture topic (preferably of relevance to
    Makati City) as Chairholder.

To qualify for the Professorial Chair Awards, the candidate must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Must be either a guest lecturer (with industry experience or professional experience), part-time, full-time, or tenured faculty of the University of Makati with a rank of at least an associate professor or its equivalent level;
  • Must have a doctoral degree;
  • Must have rendered service to the University as a guest lecturer or faculty in any of the fields of study.
  • Must be exemplary in the aspects of teaching, research, or public service;
  • Must be specialized in the specific field of the Chair awarded.
