Real Life-UMak Partnership Formalized

After more than a decade of awarding academic scholarships to qualified and deserving UMak students, Real LIFE Foundation (RLFI) has finally signed a Memorandum of Agreement this month with the university through the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs-Center for Admission and Scholarship (CAS). The scholarship program is noteworthy because it not only provides the customary financial aid to scholars, it also provides mentoring on character formation plus skills training on leadership development.

RLFI is a nongovernmental and nonprofit organization duly registered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development. It is one of the campus ministry programs of Every Nation, a worldwide family of churches and ministries, and taps Every Nation Campus Philippines in the implementation of character formation and leadership development activities for its UMak scholars.

Present from RLFI during the virtual huddle to officially receive the signed agreements last July 14, 2021 were Executive Director Mae Perez and Educational Partnerships Officer Hannah Resuello. Joining them from UMak were CAS Director John Paul Dagum, Center for Linkages, Career Development and Placement Director Cynthia Jose with Maria Luisa Javier. (Photo collage courtesy of RLFI)
