CUR is Now Calling for Signups in Accelerated Research Mentorship Program

Background

Last 27 February 2024, SCOPUS recorded twenty-one (21) articles authored by UMak scientists. The Center, through the newly created Organized Research Units (ORUs) (UMak Organized Research Units (ORUs), 2024) designed a program to mentor interested faculty, staff, and management to write articles (research
and other academic/scientific) to be published on SCOPUS Indexed Journals.

Rationale

This memorandum is issued to invite interested faculty, staff, and management of UMak to sign up for this mentorship program. There will only be twenty slots.

The Accelerated Research Mentorship Program will start during the summer break of the school year 2023-2024 for those who have been hand-picked by the Center from amongst those who signed up through this form. This will be part of the Center’s contribution for our University’s aim for Internationalization and Increasing our ranking amongst universities around the world.

The mode of mentorship is mixed, i.e. face-to-face or via online video conference. For the submission of draft, we will be using Google Classroom.

This will be a collaboration with other universities we have entered Memorandum of Understanding, vis-à-vis:

  • Biliran Province State University
  • Southern Leyte State University
  • GHF University Excellence
