UMak Inks Another Int’l Partnership with Dong-Eui University (DEU) of Busan, South Korea

28 February 2024 – The University of Makati has once again signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dong-Eui University (DEU), a leading university in Busan, Korea with international exchange agreements with 38 universities in 12 countries.

This partnership will produce short-term Academic Management Programs and business-related courses for students and professionals, with UMak College of Continuing, Advanced and Professional Studies (CCAPS) as DEU’s partner college where these courses can be availed of.

UMAK CCAPS will be collaborating with DEU’s fast-growing Graduate School of Business which leads modernization, industrialization, and democratization through modern management education and research focusing on small and medium-sized businesses in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions of Korea.

DEU was represented by Prof. Rhee Kyong-gu, Dean of the Graduate School of Business, while UMak was represented by Prof. Elyxzur Ramos, University President, who has been championing UMak’s pursuit of internationalization and participation in the fast-paced globalized world. It is only February but this is already the 3rd time in 2024 that UMak has tied up with a foreign higher education institution, expanding its global recognition and presence.
