UMak Dance Xtreme

All bona fide UMak students who have artistic talents in performing arts are welcome to join one (1) ensemble provided he/she passes the screening process and the auditions. Once admitted, he/she must abide by the constitution and by-laws of their respective group and must exhibit the discipline that is reflective of the UMak-CCA.

Scholarship

Official members of the ensemble are eligible to apply for a scholarship based on the following criteria:

• Must have a GWA of 85 or higher and has not incurred INC, UD and OD during the previous semester as evidenced in the Report of Grades
• Must be an active member for at least one year
• Must have participated in at least five performances in a semester
• Has not violated the constitution and by-laws of the CCA and the cultural organization he/she belongs to
• Attended rehearsals and training regularly
• Must submit Certificate of Registration (COR) and Report of Grades during the previous semester

Process

• CCA office evaluates submitted documents.
• CCA endorses application to Center for Admission and Scholarship (CAS) for approval
• If approved, the applicant receives an email from CAS.
